1955 chevy belair, street driven race car, 8 year build, I drive to work 1 a week,drives down the road nice and straight, good brakes, runs at 180-200 degrees, 489ci tall deck big block chevy, 400 turbo motorhome trans,dana 60 rearend, eagle forged 4.250 stroke crankshaft,eagle h beam rods,full roler valve train, crane roller cam, roller lifters, roller rockers,best of everything in motor, took 3 years to buy parts and build engine, machine work was done by david petit, well nown race engine builder,full balance assembly,new,aluminum heads large chambers, square port gm performance heads, 871 blower shop supercharger with 2 -750 quick fuel carburators,this setup runs great on the street, have driven aprox 2,000 miles to and from car shows and work, have 4 trophies for car, would like to keep them, 1 for peoples choice out of 200 cars,,400 turbo motorhome trans with 3000 stall tourque converter,dana 60 rearend with lincon continental disc brakes, pads&rotors are available at auto zone, 4/10 Detroit locker with all new bearings, 35 spline moser axles, American torque thrust 10x15 rear- 4x15 front,speedway motors straight axle,with disc brakes,1 piece fiberglass front end, 1957 corvette grill. all new American auto wire harness, with msd control box and billet distributor, 7 quart cast aluminum boat oil pan, heavy duty oil cooler and small radiator for oil,,this car was raced with grate lakes gassers with a stock 454 motorhome engine and trans, 1 year only, while I assembled blower motor. the car will need roll bar, newer seat belts and new drive shaft to be ready for the race track, I am currently running the blower underdrive, switching crank and supercharger pulleys will overdrive blower to 5to7 pounds boost, this car pulls like a freight trane now, I cannot imagine it overdriven, yes the wheelie bars are there just in case,tires have about 1000 miles, changed the look and width to what is on car now, any questions call 734-915-9306. or email me, car can stay in garage for up to 30 days after auction, I will help load car for shipper of your choice, have clear title and many reciets for parts.
