yet appreciates how performance signatures have come down to the present day,

this 1955 Chevrolet may be your perfect car.

Starting out with a 210-series sedan,

this gorgeous creation was the result of a professional-level restoration completed in 2013.

D&D Classic Auto in Covington, Ohio, was tasked with the bodywork and paint,

which is a two-tone scheme rendered in House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl and Silver WhitePearl.

As most know, the 1955 model was the initial OEM-setting for Chevrolet's legendary small-block V-8;

a descendent of that lineage is now under the hood in the form of a 383 CI Stroker package.

Surrounded in the same sea of orange as seen on the body,

this powerplant uses an Edelbrock 750 CFM carburetor, aluminum intake, shorty headers,

center-bolt valve covers and a Be Cool radiator,

with select chrome accessories added for highlights.

An M&H wiring harness keeps the appearance refreshingly clean.

Behind the engine is a Turbo 350 transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end mounted in conjunction to 4-link rear suspension.

Also underneath is a Hardcore boxed chassis,

tubular front A-arms, coilover shocks on all four corners,

power steering and a Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brake layout.

Opening up the doors showcases a two-tone tan leather interior,

custom rendered courtesy of Interiors by Thomas in Auburn, Indiana.

Complete with unique door panels, inside this ride are an Ididit tilt steering column, B&M T-handle floor shifter,

aftermarket gauging, Sun tachometer and custom steering wheel.

It retains popular accents like the in-dash clock, factory speedometer and script Bel Air emblems as well.

Detailed throughout, this refreshed machine rides on Custom wheels and to complete its appearance.
