1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups Base 3100 Description

Vehicle is licensed and titled in Illinois. I have driven it on city streets only. Because of the gear ratio in the 4-speed with the granny first gear. Highway speeds are not possible. Top end is approximately 50 miles per hour. Truck runs good. Needs more work. I have too many projects and not enough time for this one.Body is in great condition, but not perfect. Drive train needs updating to run in today's traffic. Top speed is approximately 50mph.Need speedometer cable, hook up temp sending unit into engine, hook up Alt. gauge.Front brakes need repair, power steering gear box needs adjusting/location.4x4 working, lock out hubs working. Engine runs great and starts as fast as an injection engine.
Excellent start to someone who has time to invest in a quick restoration or customize.
