when my aunts mom died her dad took her up to ladysmith wisconsin to live with her uncle joe and aunt kate when she was 8 uncle joe bought the new car a regular chevy cost aprox $500 this one cost $695 it was the fanciest chevy you could buy dual spares,pull down curtains in rear,extra chrome,also a horsehair blanket in back seat to cover your legs(which is still intact) aunt kates 1930s purse is still hanging on mirror. when the 2 died aunt mary took possesion of the estate, my dad and uncle went up and cut a tree down to get the car out.it was brought back to indiana and when i was 16 i drove the car carrying my 7 younger cousins 6 girls 1 boy. when the boy turned 21 the car was given to him. 8 mths later he was killed!! the car was then taken to fort wayne by one of the girl cousins. i purchased her in 2011.the cars name is "MISS ELIZABETH" i put a new clutch,water pump, and all new valves. she can be driven to california!! great car and you would be proud to own her.. she won best old car at the JAMES DEAN CAR SHOW last yr!! UNRESTORED ORIGINAL PAINT!!
