1992 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Description

Very Nice. 1992 Chevy 1500 Sport Pickup. Truck is equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission and a 4.3 V6 Motor. It is not a fast truck. Truck has a little under 88,000, which can go up as I drive it a couple times a week. I would not hesitate to get in this thing and drive it to Alaska tomorrow. This has been used as a light duty work truck for most of its life as shown by the pics of the bed and tailgate. I believe the paint to be original with the exception of the cab top which was sprayed at some point and is not as shiny as the rest of the body. Although it shines up pretty good, it is by no means perfect and still has its various small dents, dings, scratches, and chips. There is a small rust area on the drivers side rocker panel (see pic) as well as the lip of the drivers side rear wheel well. Very little rust on body. Frame is solid and rust free. The interior is nice with 1 burn hole on the seats. The dash has a couple of cracks like they all do at this age and the window tint is purpling and beginning to bubble on rear window. It has a kenwood stereo with Polk Audio speakers and remote. Sounds pretty decent considering. A/C and Cruise work well. Fog lights don't work (never messed with them). I recently put a new starter and water pump in. Keep in mind that these pictures were taken immediately after I washed, clay barred, waxed and buffed the truck at beginning of the summer. If you want it to stay shinny like this you do have to wash and detail it a few times a year. That is what I do. Also this truck has not seen rain of snow in the 5 years I have owned.
This is not a show truck by any means. This is just a real really nice original piece that tracks nicely down the road. Gets excellent MPG around 20 - 24 depending on how you drive. Smokes a little when starting like all chevy's from this era do. Uses maybe 3/4 of a quart every 3000 miles or so. Would make a great first vehicle or a great light duty truck. I would not be hauling around a car trailer or anything like that. It is what it is.
This truck has been on ebay before. Please bid only if you are gonna pick it up and pay. I am located in Moores Hill Indiana 47032 and all parties are encouraged to check it out before bidding.
