1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description
I've owned this car for almost 20 years but, now it's time to downsize. This car is an older custom and gracefully shows it's age. It was originally from Arizona and the results of living in that dry climate are apparent. The body is sound. The paint shows it's age and miles. Same with the interior, it's an older custom job, no rips or tears or wear throughs. Everything works except the interior courtesy lights and I can't get under the dash to plug them in anymore. Lots of modifications Engine is a late 70's vintage built 454, ported, polished, Comp 260 cam, 800 Edelbrock, Air Gap Intake MSD ignition. Lots of chrome and polished goodies under the hood. Turbo 400 with a stage 2 kit and a frame mounted trans cooler.B&M Starshifter. 10 3/4" later drum brake rear end with 3.08 posi. Drive train was put together to make the car comfortable on the highwayor the drag-strip. Turns mid to high 13"s without hurting the hardware. For comfort on the highway we have 2" drop spindles with disc brakes, anti sway bars front and back with springs and shocks carefully selected to carry the big block without straining. Chrome rally rims. Line lock for the track and fun. It's got a reasonable stereo system, stacker in the trunk. The windshield wipers have been changed from the original cable drive to a solid linkage system that really works fantastic. Clock quit working in 2003. Radiator and heater core are both relatively fresh. Triple gaugepackage mounted under the dash. There are lots of other goodies and incidentals but, this is a pretty good start. What does the car need? Well it doesn't "need" anything except whatever you want to add or change. This is not a super built pro touring car. Nor is it priced like one. It's a great cruiser and loads of fun.Seller will arrange with a licensed broker that export documentation is complete allowing titling in any state. Seller will meet transport truck in Blaine if required.
