G10 Chevy van, Great daily driver, 88K miles
1980 Chevrolet G10 Description
New-TiresBatteryStarterWater pumpRebuilt carburetorNew rotors/brakes/bearingsNew carpet in the back and a new compartment with a shelf has recently been built. Also has a new wooden partition that blocks off the front from the back.Straight 6 250 engine, good on gas.88,000 original milesTransmission is great, no outlying issues.Glass is clean, no cracks. It could use a choke thermostat, it runs fine without, but it's harder to start in cold weather due to not having a good choke thermostat. This is a cheap fix tho. I just haven't taken the time to do it.I have service records of work done. Including Discount Tire warranty.Sale price is far less than the work put into refurbishing it.Would be great for a tiny home/camper conversion.Very minor coolant leak. My mechanic can't find it, so the speculation is that it's too small to be seen cold and the coolant leaks when the system heats up. The head gasket is fine, not the cause. There is no coolant in the oil whatsoever. That said, keep it full and it's fine.Defroster blows small amount of hot air.No A/CSide sliding door doesn't lock from the outside, I have rigged it to lock from inside.Sold as-is with regard to the above details.Selling because I am not going to use it for its intended purpose and would rather not have it sitting around. No reserve! Sells with winning bid.
