1969 Chevrolet Nova super sport 396-375 Description

im listing this for my husband, his account had been compromised.at this time his feedback is 100 % and at 678........ this car listed here has probably one of the nicest bodies around on a nova this year youll find.and one of the highest optioned, with low miles and the 396-375.it has had everything done that can be done.starting with body off subframe.it has the correct look, correct sound, and correct stance as if youve went back to 1969.no exspense spared.car was painted in its original lemans blue.paint is extremely nice. small blems are always somewhere, but are so minutte that a digital camera cant pick them up.paint is slick as glass and definately a 9...the biggest thing is car spent most of its life in ca.no-rust.all original rockers,floors,trunk,ect....the insides has also been finished in its original form.bright blue bucket seat with custom and deluxe interior trim.this car testifies to its 68,000 mile life.and it being the real deal 375 h.p.,its a extremely high optioned car.it was not built like most ive seen come up for sale.most were basic, stripped down,no options.and either bench, automatic, plain wheels,no tach,no steering ect......this car seems to be unique.the options here total 21.they are as follows:
A01- all tinted glass G80-positraction U17-special instrumentation
A51-bucket seats J50-power brakes U29-under dash courtesy light
A91-power trunk release L78-396-375 h.p. U79-am stereo
C08-vynil top M20-4 spd transmission ZJ5-exterior decor pkg
C50-rear window defogger N34-sport style wheel ZJ7-ralley wheels
D33-remote mirror N40-power steering Z27-super sport pkg
D55-console PW8-red line tires Z87-custom interior
as i mentioned earlier, this is one of only 5200 375 h.p.produced in 69.give or take?it is the real deal.all of the needed identifiers are there for it being a big block car.the one year only 4 speed crossmember,12 bolt posi,3:55 standard on 375's,the heater box outlets,(by the way, best i can tell this car still has the old original heater core still in place)the big block radiator support(375 had special one just for it)single 3/8 fuel line with no return line.and the factory original 6000 rpm redline tach.(that are not, and probably never will be re-produced,these are impossible to find used).im sure theres more but you get the idea.........below is a list of the drivetrain components.trim tag build date is first week in march(3A)

all body lines are clean and straight.all panel gaps are equal and precise.all chrome is either original or been replaced.there is one or two original ones with a very small ding.but i didnt feel that they needed to be replaced.some unique things are still there, like the neutral safety switch(the one attatched to the clutch pedal, requiring it to be pushed before it will start).the reverse lock out(the devise that locks the steering wheel when the car is put in reverse).the factory applied vynil top, just a slight blem or two,but no rust at all under it.the steering box has developed a drip, probably from setting and not driven.radio has playe, could be a wire not connected?
this car was not a rusty rebuild like some are.its lived a very pampered life.all doors, hood, trunk open and close like they should.attention has been given to every bit of correctness, like no aftermarket gauges or column mounted tach, headers, wrong wheels, painted wrong color,ect........look at the pictures the time and attention to detail is hard to explain.all clips for fuel lines and brake lines are color coded correct.bolts have the correct black phosphate.the underneath the car and all suspension components look as nice and detailed as what you see under the hood.
cars in this condition are getting harder and harder to find, because people are keeping them longer and not letting go.as far as price ranges go,the CPI black book is one that alot of major auctions use.CPI doesnt list a catagory #1 class.they only list #2 & #3:s.(class #1:s are for NOS restore, original untouched survivors, and 1,000 point judging cars.)this car definatley falls in the #2 class.in the current book the have 396-375:s at $54,750.and that doesnt account for the low miles and 21 options?these figures are calculated by actual auction sales figures and private sales.my reserve is alot lower than this, but please dont ask for it or for a buy it now.its not fair for all that bid.
im a dealer doing business as hathcock auto sales and restoration.i dont sell junk.so what you see is what you get.like all vehicles this age,if your bidding on it,your accepting it as-is.no warranty expressed or implied.if you have to get permission from someone else to bid or purchase, then get that before hand.im not going to wait on an appraisal co. or a bank loan to be approved.this waste everyones time....there is no deposit....BUT...within 3 days of auction ends, full payment will be required.if no, it will be offered to next highest bidder.i have to this because im not always readily available at times.im firm on my terms.i have to be because of a few bad apples.....do your due diligence before bidding.sometimes used and or older vehicles have faults of their ow, seen and un-foreseen.some things could exist that are or were not known by past or present buyers or sellers.all statements listed here are based on opinion.yours may differ.upon winning bid, your acknowledge you have read and understand the info stated here.you also leave the seller blameless of information contained or omitted....you have to list this stuff now days.people will think your responsible for knowing or should know the whole life of a car since it was new, which i do
this is a really nice car.i hope and i think whoever ends up with it will be pleased.just remember that this is an older car.its not a 2017 camaro or charger.its not going to act like a new car.they have squeaks and groans like we do as humans sometimes.nor do they handle out on the road like the new ones do.we seem to forget that sometimes........i have a friend who works as a dispatcher for a major transport co.close by.he can usually get cars moved for around .040 to .060 cents a mile, thats cheap.

on monday i got around to proof reading the description for spelling errors?..and i found one.....where it says towards the bottom about quote"..... people expect you to know the whole life of a car since it was new which i do?".....well i left of the (nt).... of DONT......it should read "which i dont".......it should not say the" which i do "...hope this is understandable.since the add has already been submitted,i cant go back and just add the two missing letters onto it to where it reads right?
