I need to find a good home for my 1990 Suburban 1500. I bought her 10 years or so ago from the original owner with maybe 350,000 miles on the clock. He lived about 70 miles from his work (a high end residential development down here) so it sat at 50mph for 140 miles per day its entire life with him. In the ten years I have owned her she has done about 3k miles per year or less. The previous owner had the oil changed every 3,000 miles without fail. I have a stack of history for the car - all I need to do is find it.
She has just been serviced and had a new wiper motor; universal joints; new rear springs; and had a service too. She is the most reliable car I ever owned.
There are some issues - I think the aircon needs a recharge and the windows are now slow (but all work), and the dreaded sagging roof lining.
She comes with the wheels and tires on the car (the tires have done about 4k miles) and the original set of four alloys with tires that came on the car when I bought it.
It also has patina by the gallon.......
The interior is very clean for the year, and the armrest will be back on the drivers chair by the time anyone takes it away.
I need it gone within 10 days (by 13th August), and all sensible offers will be considered. I would rather it go to a good home than to someone that isn't going to appreciate her.
This is a car that (if appropriate) someone could drive home.
