1967 Chevrolet Corvette Pro Touring
Originally assembled on November 22, 1966, this 1967 Corvette ZZ454 Restomod is sure to bring traffic to a standstill anywhere it goes! This is not your average "slap a newer engine in it and call it done" restomod, this showcar has been totally gone through, from its custom frame and suspension to its modern overdrive transmission to its 18 inch wheels! This car's paint is in very good conditon, with a stunning, mile-deep shine. A 1967 big block stinger hood has been added to this car to let everyone else know you mean business, just in case they couldn't tell from the violent rumble of the side exhaust. Chrome bumpers and exterior door handles show a recent finish, and are in very good to excellent condition. Weatherstripping looks to be recent, and is soft and in very good to excellent condition. Taillights look recent as well, and are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks. This car wears a set of inch Billet Specialties GTP47 wheels with added '67 bolt-on wheel style center caps, which in effect make this car look like it's simply wearing a set of oversized stock '67 bolt-on wheels. This wheels are sized 18 inch in the rear, and 17 inch in the front. Modern radial tires put the power to the ground, and have added bluelines for some 60s nostalgia. These tires show plenty of tread remaining at an average of 9/32nds. The interior of this 1967 Corvette ZZ454 Restomod has been redone in the darker '66 Blue color, and shows recent seat covers, door panels, door sill plates, and loop carpet in very good to excellent condition. Dash pads are in very good condition with no cracks, and the center console is in very good condition as well. Gauges are in excellent condition with no fading and clear lenses, and the clock is working at this time with what appears to be a quartz movement. GM seatbelts are present, and appear to be unrestored/original. Teakwood steering wheel is in very good to excellent condition, showing what looks to be a recent finish. A Flaming River tilt steering column has been added to aide entry and exit of this fine vehicle. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place, and a set of polished aluminum pedals has been installed in place of the factory units. Glovebox lid is in very good to excellent condition with no scratches or dings. The ZZ454 crate engine in this car features aluminum heads and has been dressed as a 427/435hp, complete with correct air cleaner and Holley 3x2 carburetors. Other additions to this car include a set of large Chevy orange valve covers with 427 bowtie logos, smaller 427 emblems for the lower fenders, and a Hurst shifter. This car's frame was custom built by Street Shop in Athens, Alabama, and retails for well over $20,000 alone. This frame utilizes '96 Corvette suspension, with added coil-over shocks, '96 Grand Sport brakes, and power rack and pinion steering. Engine compartment has been very nicely detailed, and the frame is solid and clean enough to perform open heart surgery on. Included will be invoices for most of this car's work, which date back to 2007. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition. This showcar is ready to go and only needs a new owner to trailer it around the show circuit, or drive it like its meant to be! - call us while we've got it, or expect to see it stealing all the trophies at your next car show!
