1961 Corvair Monza 900 with 140 hp
1961 Chevrolet Corvair Description
This car was restored in 2007. Since being restored it has been driven 7000 miles. It has many modifications which include: 1965 140hp engine that was rebuilt at time of restoration, five bolt axles, hubs and rims, dual exhaust, with turboflow mufflers that have a great sound, electric fuel pump with new fuel and brake lines, new master and wheel cylinders and brake shoes, safety knuckle in the steering shaft, 1965 buckets seatsas they are much more comfortable (original seats available if wanted), after market steering wheel, (I have the original and will include it), alternator instead of the original generator, 14 x 7 inch rims with new tires, and racing springs on the rear to improve handling. Also installed at the time of restoration are: all new wiring harnesses, new carpet, headliner, and door, trunk, and engine seals, .355 differential, and all new air hoses and fan motor. I am sure I am forgetting something. The bottom line is that this is a very fun little car. The 140 gives it lots of power. This car drives and rides nice. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. I have relisted this car as the winning bidder was unable to complete the transaction so please don't bid if you can't complete the transaction. The car is located in Vinton Iowa and it will need to be picked up there. I would consider delivery under the right circumstances. If you want a sharp looking car that is fun to drive then this is the car for you. happy bidding!
