1994 Chevrolet S-10 LS Description
1994 Chevrolet S10 Pickup with 350 SBC V8 Engine Swap 5 speed Manual Custom
You are bidding on a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 powered by a TBI 350 V8 swap with a 5 speed manual transmission. I have built this truck over the past 5 years and it has been my daily driver until I bought a new truck recently. I have never drove this truck hard and built it to look good and to have extra power for hauling things in the bed. It started out as a factory 4.3L V6 5 speed truck. It now is powered by a TBI Chevrolet 350 V8 roller cam engine from a 93 Buick Roadmaster. Body has 204k miles on it and the engine has 173k on it. Engine swap was performed in October of 2013 and I have put around 7k miles on it since. At the time of the engine swap the following new parts were installed: All fluids changed, Front and rear brake rotors/pads, front wheel bearings, rear brake calipers, front upper and lower ball joints, front upper and lower control arm bushings, swap bar end links, front and rear struts, alternator, coil, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, timing chain, valve covers, air cleaner, power steering pump, water pump, radiator, radiator fans, radiator and heater hoses, driveshaft u joints, true dual exhaust, and battery. C6 corvette wheels and new tires were added about 4k miles ago and a front end alignment was performed at the time. Wheels are not perfect as they have some pitting/chips seen in the pics. Tires still have 8/32nds of tread or better. Seats, door panels, carpet, and headliner are custom gray and charcoal in color added in June 2013. The dash does have 4 typical cracks as seen in the pics. Heat and AC both work and it has a complete new a/c system (new compressor, dryer, condenser, and evaporator). Truck in is good condition for its age. Runs and drives good. The engine does not make any noises or burn any oil. It does have a very slight oil leak at the rear of the oil pan which is common for the mileage of the engine. With it being throttle body fuel injection it starts up easy every time and you can just drive off, unlike the usual carb engine swaps that are more common. It actually gets better fuel mileage than the 4.3 that was in it originally. It gets 20 to 25 mpg depending on how you drive it. Fresh, slick PPG basecoat/ clearcoat paint just done 2 months ago. Front end and rear bumper has been converted to the newer 2002 style. It turns heads and and I get compliments on it all the time. People love the sporty look and the sound of the V8 with the dual exhaust. Ready for a car show, cruise in, or just as a daily driver. Save your time and effort from building a s10 v8 by bidding on this daily driver. A list of all the mods are below. Clean NC title in hand. This truck just passed a NC safety inspection in January 2016 and is emission testing exempt in the state of NC due to its age. Please make sure that this vehicle is in compliant with your local vehicle emission laws before bidding. Also please understand that this is a used truck and is a modified vehicle which may not perform or have the same characteristics as a stock vehicle including but not limited to engine performance, handling, steering, braking, fuel economy, towing ability, ride quality, emission compliance, etc. This truck is for sale locally and the auction can be ended at any time. Please only bid if you have the money to pay. A $200 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction end.
