On Aug-19-17 at 08:22:41 PDT, seller added the following information:As you can see from the V.I.N., this truck was assembled in the Los Angeles plant. Keep in mind that true 1955 1st series trucks were only made for 3 mo. In case you don't know how to read this V.I.N. the last 6 #'s are the build sequence #'s. These started with 1001, so you see it is a low # on this truck. It only makes sense though as there were not that many built in a 3 mo. time. THEN, you put the factory hydra matic trans in it, and there were even fewer of those built.
