1973 Corvette - All Original Unrestored - Numbers Matching - Project
1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Description
I recently purchased this car with the intentions of restoring it and keeping it but have since decided I should let some of my projects go and focus on some of the ones I have in need of restoration. I purchased this car from the second owner who had left the car sitting in the garage for about 8 years. He said the car stopped running and is not mechanically inclined enough to work on it so he let it sit until he had the time to restore it but never was able to. What i know about the car is that it is a true numbers matching car with all original interior and that the motor isn't receiving power to it. I can't get it to turn over but haven't spent much time with it to get it to run but I doubt it will need much work to get it running again. So be advised that the car is being sold NON RUNNING AND DRIVING. The car came originally without AC. I removed the gas tank but was unable to recover a build sheet. It will need a new gas tank, the sending unit is re-usable. The body is in great shape. All panels align well and there is no evidence of repair. The underside is very solid with no rust other than simply surface rust from it being in the humidity in the south. No rust whatsoever in need of repair! The front bumper was cracking and warped so the previous owner had taken it off. A new one will only cost about $150. The interior is complete and in very nice shape. I wouldn't change a thing on the interior. The previous owner confirmed the mileage to be accurate with only 79,000 original miles. All tires are dry-rotted and need replaced but hold air well. I can assist the buyer with shipping the vehicle. I am a collector of classic cars and for anyone who appreciates originality in a classic car. you will be impressed by this car! Any questions please ask.
