The Chevy runs great. The engine and transmission are excellent; The car started right up on the coldest days last winter, even when it had sat a week or more.
The body is in great shape. Random touches of surface rust only. The last owner garaged it every winter for the last 25 years. The brakes are new this summer; The car's had a recent Tune-upand new plugs ( R4- 4t .045 gap) The tires are recent. Just had new gaskets put on all the doors. What does it need? Carpeting; an antenna and maybe your favorite new exterior color. She's a canvas for your dreams.
Other than that the Chevy is a HOOT to drive; It's like cruisin down the road in a Living Room, on comfy stuffed bucket seats with electric controls; and more windows to beam out of than a Peterbuilt Cabin. PLUS you cannot go incognito. This ride gets more attention than anything I've driven in 40 years. People walk right up to us at every gas station or honk at the stop lights! No pretense. She's a honky tonk gal breakin hearts all over town.
