1937 Chevrolet Sedan Master Deluxe Description

1937 Chevrolet Sedan Master Deluxe. Clean Title. Was a rare one family barn find in Tulsa, Oklahoma a couple years back and has been brought back to life with new drive train, new master cylinder, brake lines, drums, wheel cylinders and hardware. The motor is a freshly rebuilt GM 235 out of a 1961 Chevrolet Pickup (Great year for the GM inline 6-hydraulic lifters). Saginaw 3 speed on the floor transmission and upgraded open driveshaft. Brand new poly fuel tank, new fuel lines, rebuilt Rochester B Carburetor & original air cleaner, new plugs and wires, Fenton cast iron split headers that match up to dual Smittys glass packs that give it an awesome sound. New front and rear Shocks, Brand new Coker tires & tubes all around. Original wheels were blasted and painted & capped off with the original 1937 Chevrolet hubcaps. Car was completely re-wired front to back and upgraded to a 12 volt system with an alternator and electronic ignition which starts the car up every time. Idled for an hour in the hot Oklahoma sun and coolant sat at 180 degrees with no issues.
The Car has many of the original accessories such as the original grill & Chevrolet Grill emblem, Original hood ornament, original dash gauges, original dash radio, original glove box lock & key, original dash clock, original banjo steering wheel and correct original horn cover caps, the original "town and country" dual trumpet horns under the hood, original wipers, mounts, interior handles and much more. All the windows are free of cracks and all roll up and down (including the rear two) and function as they should.
The original trunk shelf was used as a template to make one identical to the original to cover the original spare tire on the original 1937 wheel & original Chevrolet Hubcap. The body is extremely solid & boasts new weatherstripping. When I first got the car I had the entire interior removed & the floor sheet metal sanded and sealed. The car was painted in the early 1990's and shines up very well. I recently had a professional "Paint Correction" done by a local detail professional and it gets tons of compliments.
The interior is in very good shape. The car was reupholstered in 2001 and the seats have no rips, tears, or signs of wear. New carpet and correct 1937 Floor mat.
Overall, this is a very solid and rare 1937 Chevrolet Sedan Master Deluxe. It has been updated just enough to keep it a classic Chevrolet, but make it a much more reliable car to drive daily or just reserve for weekend cruises. I drive it to work 3-4 days a week and it fires up every time and is a head turner every where you go. I've shown it at a few car shows and it always draws attention and photos.
