1960 Chevrolet Other Parkwood Description
This 1960 Chevrolet Parkwood Station wagon was salvaged out of a wrecking yard in 2009 the day after it was hauled in from a 30 year siesta.It had a 283 motor and 3 speed transmission from the factory.Car has factory paint that has the right Patina to it.Here is a list of what i have done to the car since then: New rubber bushings front and rear suspension. new Front sway bar, Lowering coil springs front &rear, New bearings front & rear, Disc front brakes,2" dropped spindles and power brake booster, New Gas tank, New shocks front& rear, New Newport engineering wiper motor W/ intermittent delay, 350 chevy SB motor with 400 turbo transmission, Lokar floor shifter, New radiator, New front windshield & rubber gasket, BF Goodrich wide whitewall tires and Rocket brand Mag wheels, New headliner,carpet,Indian Blanket seat covers,New door and rear area side panels, New rear area factory floor covering, Custom Autosound Radio with new dash speaker and kick panel speakers, All glass is original and in good shape except for a cracked wing window, EZ lift hitch and Electrical plug wiring hook-up for trailer towing, New exhaust... Car very dependable & drives great.Would not hesitate to go cross country with car.I have towed a 17' travel trailer with car with no trouble.
