1981 Chevrolet Camaro Description

This is a 1981 Berlinetta camaro that has been fitted with a 71 big block 396 and 4 speed manual from a 71 chevelle. the car is a blast to drive, automatics are just boring...4 speeds are where the fun is. Plus to look out the window and with dual quads out the hood for all to see at traffic lights, the attention is awesome and then to just leave the light with that big block screaming as the clutch is dropped leaving a pair of tracks behind. its a fun toy for sure that needs a new owner. the engine itself is just a mild build with mild cam, screw in studs, springs, dual quad offenhouser intake and dual carbs with electric fans. that big block sounds, runs good and gets alot of attention with those dual quads out the hood, plus you get the cool torque lean when you hammer down like a shaker hood. the rear axle is also a posi so it wil lay dual tracks on the pavement. the interior has been redone in black with an older black with silver striped paint job. the paint does show a little age in areas but as you can see from the pics, that paint with these 17" wheels wrapped with nexen 225's and 245's is still is a looker. the body itself is in overall decent shape, there is a little bit of rust in one small corner of the trunk but other than that its really solid as you can see from underside pics i have post aswell.if you have any questions about the car please call 701-797-7396the car is located just outside cooperstown, ND
***here is a youtube video of the car running, just copy and paste it in the web browser https://youtu.be/nK6v22mVlf0
with the goods, there is also some bads...-a couple of factory guages on the dash dont work, it might be a plug or a ground, i dont knowhavent looked for the issue as it has has more accurate aftermarket guages below the dash-the paint has a crack right at the nose of the hood-the engine when at running temp has a ticking under the valve cover, most likely a rocker that needs adjusting, i havent fooled with it, too many toys that need attention.-shifter boot is missing in the center console-may need a stronger clutch for that big block it just had a stock one in it
