210 Restorod
1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 2 dr post Description
Bob was a craftsman and a perfectionist. If you were building a deck, or organizing a shop, or restoring/modifying a car, and it came up to Bob's standards, you knew you had achieved the ultimate-nobody was going to find fault with your work. He restored and rebuiltnumerous award-winning vehicles over his lifetime. This was his last completed project, and it is a real gem. Built as a show winner AND a comfortable driver, it excels in both areas. Starting with a very solid, rust free, original car, he separated the body from the frame and built it from the ground upinto a smooth riding, powerful and great looking example of vintage American iron. I combed the car from stem to stern, and the only fault I could find is two very small bubbles in the left rear quarter (see picture). Sadly, he passed away after accumulating just over 8700 miles on this car, and his widow has decided it's time to sell. If you appreciate early 50's GM styling, modern roadability and fine craftsmanship, you'll have to look long and hard to find anything that would come close to this car-and there's no way you could build an equal for anything close to theBuy-it-Now price. No disappointments.
