1982 chevrolet C10 6.2 Diesel scottsdale long bed
1982 Chevrolet C-10 scottsdale Description
bidding on a 82 c10. I purchased it off a friend of mine about 10 years agobefore he passed. I believe he bought it new in 82. Reason I am selling it is the lack of use and too many cars. Id rather someone run and drive the truck and enjoy it rather than sit under the cover in the garage or storage. Let me begin by saying the truck runs and drives great! Id would not be afraid to drive it anyplace. This truck is a northern truck but spent every winter in west palm beach Florida so that's 25 years of going back and forthsouth before I bought it. Anything this truck needed it was done with no expense spared. oil changes every 3000 miles and transmission serviced every year. Transmission was rebuilt beforeI bought it fromAMCOwith less than 10 thousand miles on itand the engine was replaced at around 50 thousand mileswitha updatedreplacement GM Engine so the new one has under 50k on it.shifts great runs great! Engine only smokes when you first start it for acouple of puffsnothing major just the normalamount that's its supposed to. The chevy sports Cadillac hub caps that have been on from the day he picked it up he told me. I think they are of a 53 or 54. The grill in the truck is one with the billet grill not the original one in some pics.Ichanged it whenI took it out of storage this year so somewere before and after pics of the grill soIdon't wantanyone to get confused on what one it comes with and why they are different in some pictures.Tire are just about new with less than 1000 miles on them. the old one were still good but starting to dry rot so I had them changed last year. A.C blows cold for a 82. I had it converted a few years back because I couldn't find any R12 to give it a little shot. was cold but just not cold as it is now. batteries are good and were replaced a couple of years ago with lots of life left. It has dual fuel tanks that works great. This truck is great on fuel! Body is in great shape with a nice paint job. NOT a 100 point show truck but a nice daily driver or local show car show truck. something to be proud of for sure. I get more thumbs up and looks in thistruck than my z06! more people say that thing is beautiful what year is that! and boy you don't see them anymore.... IF you have any questions please email me with your phone and I can give you calland be happy to answer any questions you might have. Good luck bidding! Thanks, Anthony
