1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Belair Description

I purchased this not long ago to drive and fix up, but my circumstances have changed. I am a Certified Master Auto Technician with over 30 years experience. This is a great driver quality car, it has a very strong V8 with a date code casting number of 3896948 which makes it 1966-67 283cid. New exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. Power steering and power brakes. The car drives beautifully, starts right up with Holly carb and auto choke, has a nice American Muscle sound, and a lot of power. Still has 4 wheel drum brakes but stops well being power. Differential has 3.55 gears and non posi. Rear tires have good rubber, fronts have some edge wear. I was told fuel tank is relatively new and fuel gauge does work! The paint is driver quality with misc scratches and chips, chrome shines pretty good in the front, and hood bar looks to be new, the rear bumper is faded some, and stainless is in very good shape. Interior is pretty much the same, driver quality, older upholstry job. 108K original miles. The underside has had a couple of patches and needs a few more, some of the braces need replaced and some patch work done, one of the frame need to be repaired of replaced, all things that could be done in between cruises. Car can be driven home! I posted several pictures of good and bad so there are no surprises, the only surprise will be how well it runs! Thanks, please ask any questions.
