1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 150 handyman wagon Description

This car was a frame off restoration, sandblasted inside and out. The rear fender wells were lifted 4". We also added a trailer hitch. The paint is Sherwin-Williams Special Effects that changes from the blue to a bright green in the sun. This car has been undercoated completely and all rust removed if there was any. The chrome was all taken off, which we still have in the event someone wants to go back to the original state. We also have the original motor, which is a 6 cylinder and the original transmission which was a3 speed with and overdrive, unusual combination for this year. When this motor was taken out, there was good oil and still had antifreeze that was good. The new motor is out of a 1968 Z28 that had been builtas far as it could go and still run on pump gas. The transmission is from TCI 700R4 out of there streetfighter series. This car will bark the tires in all 3 gears. The rear-end is still stock. This car has been in Idaho all its life so there isn't a rust issue. We have all paperwork and the build sheet on the motor. The gauges are from Dakota Digital and A/C provided by Vintage Air, also power steering. The front bumper was remodeled to accommodate driving lights and both front and rear bumpers were rechromed by Ogden Chrome. We have pictures to document the processes. The interior is done with a silvery gray with a cloth insert with matching door panels. The glass is all new from Auto City Classic glass. The exterior trim was removed and saved if needed, the paint work was done in place of the trim. NO TRADES!!! Only interested buyers only. We reserve the right to end auction at any time. THERE IS A RESERVE!! We have all receipts and numerous build pictures. We will respond to any questions that aren't addressed here in a timely manner.
