This auction is for a 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe.HydramaticIt belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away. He and his wife purchased the car brand new from John Tucker Chevrolet here in Sanford Maine where I worked for a little over 10 years. He ordered the car with this equipment, Bright Medium Blue Metallic, Midnight Blue Vinyl Interior, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Power Windows, Turbo Jet 454 4BBL V-8, Turbo Transmission, Tilt Telescopic Steering Wheel, Map Light, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Performance Axle Ratio and GR70X15 Steel Belted Radial Tires. The car is all matching numbers through out and has only 16,614 Original Miles. The car has always been stored inside his three car garage. Good and clean underneath from not being exposed to the elements. It is original paint which still presents very nice. He had the custom endless line painted on the hood and rear compartment area shortly after he purchased it. An addition to the car was the factory side exhaust which he forgot to order when he purchased it and also opted to buy the cast aluminum wheels that becameavailablelater in the year. The original rear exhaust hangers are still in place and the block off panel was painted to match and installed. The car was last driven regularly until 1979 but was registered again in 1988 for brief usage. I have most all the original paperwork including a few registrations, owners manual, vehicle inspection sheet, battery warranty, vehicle warranty and policy on owner service, wheel trim ring instruction sheet, fire stone tireguarantee, consumer informationpamphlet, rust proofing warranty and emission controlpamphlet. I did notice that he must have removed the emission parts as they are not on the motor. I was told he replaced all the brake calipers with stainless steel. It will need a battery but other than that it is good to go. The right person can clean this up, detail it and have one of the lowestmileageoriginal 1973 Corvettes on the planet. Remember they are only original once.
