1929 Chevrolet AC International Description

I tried to describe the vehicle the best I can. I am motivated to sell the vehicle which is the reason for such a low starting bid. Check the blue book and you will see my starting bid is well below that. I have a clear Michigan title in hand. The reason for the sale is because I am looking to buy a tractor which I would consider on a trade. The vehicle is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I am located about 15 minutes S/W of Detroit Metro Airport. You are welcome and encouraged to come inspect the vehicle prior to bidding. Bring your mechanic. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer. If my only bid is 7000 the car will sell to that bidder. I would be shocked if you could find another Chevy AC International in this good of a condition for that price. It is the perfect classic car for a minimal price. The buy it now is even below the bluebook.
The car runs and drives good. It sometimes needs encouragement with a shot of starting fluid, but once started it stays running great. The car is in good shape inside and out. A lot of the photos in this listing were taken over the past 2 weeks. The paint is cracked in some areas but overall looks good as you can see. The brakes are not the best, however, I have a mechanic looking at them over the next few days so that may change depending on the cost at the moment I would not drive it due to the brakes. There is a small crack in the windshield and the driver window does not roll all the way up and has a small chip. I assume an easy fix for someone mechanical which I am not. I do not know if the windshield wiper works because I am not sure how to turn it on. From the looks of the car, I would guess it has been driven very little in the rain and stored indoors. The low miles are believed to be original.
Buyer will have to pick up the car. I can try to assist with shipping if need be. Due to the brakes I will not allow the car to be driven from my location. Again this may change after my mechanic looks at it.
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you decide upon arrival this isn't the vehicle for you, we can cancel the deal and your deposit will be refunded less listing/selling fees.

UPDATE***9-14-17*** A mechanic was out, he took apart the brakes. He said the pads were still good but needed sand blasting. He cleaned everything up. They work better but I am still not comfortable driving it. The mechanic said brakes were not made like they are today and believes that's just how they are so they may or may not be fine. I live on a dirt road so you cant get any speed to see how good they actually are.
if your interested make an offer, I may end the auction sooner. Come out if you want to see it.
