1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible
You are viewing an exceptional and high quality no cost spared professional restoration. Multiyear build with the project finished 3 years ago with less than 1K miles driven since finished. Always garaged and maintained and exceptionally clean. Over 100K into the build and it shows. Complete primarily rust free car to begin with the car being purchased out of Utah. The car has been highly recognized and won many awards including Best of Show. Car needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.

Body/Paint:
The body is original GM steel with the exception of the rear floor pans, which were professionally replaced. Great care was taken with custom mods and fit and finish. Frenched antenna, head lights, 54 tail lights with custom lens. Shaved hood, doors and trunk. Paint is base/clear GM Sun Gold. The body and paint is exceptional. Great color combo and contrast. Show quality.

Interior: The interior is highly professionally done by C&B in Spokane who is known for high quality interiors. The color combination and contrast is beautiful. Soft vinyl with leather inserts. Original seat frames. I did it tilt column, door windows are electric with rear quarter windows crank. Vintage air. Power steering. Electric wipers. Dash is stock with exception to the gauge cluster. Nice gauge package with tach. Custom console with window controls, single disc CD player and speakers. 4 speaker system. Fob controlled door poppers, electric trunk power open and close controlled with Fob. Mercedes style Burberry carpet. Trunk is finished out with covered battery. Very nice.

Top: The top is Mercedes tan material, thick and high quality. The frame is totally restored, powder coated and beautiful. Elect/ hydraulic.

Running Gear: 96 Camaro Lt1, FI with Corvette covers. Sanderson headers, HEI ignition and runs excellent. Trans is a 46OLE with powder coated casing. Rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 350 gears, posi. Custom polished aluminum driveline. Runs and drives excellent.

Suspension: Restored original frame powered coated in excellent condition. Polished brake and fuel lines. Mustang II rack & pinion with 2 inch drop spindles with power disc brakes. Rear leaf springs with 2 inch lowering blocks. Gas shocks. Front sway bar. Rides very nice.

Bright work: The stainless fit and finish is outstanding. All original restored. The chrome and other bright work is done to a high standard. Extra bullets were added to the grille and the bumpers have been smoothed.

Glass: New and tinted.

Exhaust: Custom with 2 1/4 pipes that have been ceramic coated and was very expensive with flow master style mufflers.

Brakes: Front power disc brakes with drum rear.

Wheels/Tires: McClean chrome wire wheels with 205/70/15 radials all the way around.

Summary: The car runs and drives excellent and is a show piece. The color combo along with top is stunning. This car needs nothing and is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
