1970 Chevrolet Camaro Description

you are bidding on a 1970 Camaro which was restored about 8 years ago by the previous owner. the previous owner told me he rebuilt the original 250 engine at the time of restoration and has only driven it about 10k miles. the starter and alternator still look new. I replaced the throw-out bearing for being noisy and replaced the clutch at the same time. the car has manual steering and power disc brakes. The transmission it a 3 speed manual. during the restoration, he installed new quarter panels, new door skins, new windshield, and some new moldings. thecar was taken completely apart. I have some actual photos from the restoration. The paint is a single stage urethane and I consider it driver quality. The original color was code 26 Mulsanne blue. It has nice texture and shine, but is not perfect. As you can see, the engine bay is blue and well detailed. I had the new interior installed last year. it includes new seat covers, headliner, carpet, door panel and package tray. the dashpad is original and un-cracked. However, it was curling up on the front edge so the previousowner screwedit down. both front floor pans were repaired and the did a good job and they are well sealed. the trunk panlooks original in appears to be good shape and solid. the rally wheels have been restored and the tires are old but okay.the car runs good. The true mileage is unknown. The title shows 73k and exceeds, but he told me he screwed up when he title it. I was going to do an LS conversion, but have too many other projects. It is a nice entry level classic car you can drive and enjoy, or replace the engine with a V8 if you want to. As with all old cars, there is always things to do on the cars and I am sure this one is no different. I live in Winchester, va along Interstate 81. The car will remain in a secure, locked garage until the buyer can arrange shipping. you can reach me at 540-336-3357.
