This is an older restoration.
Truck was used for special deliveries to clients when I was in business.
It does have some chipped paint from removing vinyl lettering and a few bumps.
Miller & Hodges Machine in San Leandro rebuilt the engine in 2003. See attached picture of work order. Guessing less than 5,000 miles since rebuild.
Truck is on a NON-OP.
The truck is stored in Oroville, CA.
It drives like a 1946 Chevy truck.
All original steel body, fenders and running boards.
6-cylinder engine. (216)
Wayne Aluminum finned valve cover.
Cast aluminum Offenhouser intake Manifold with Dual carbs Popular option during early years.
Cast Iron Fenton Dual Exhaust Headers. The resulting dual pipes cause that special six-cylinder purr, so often heard in past years. Nothing sounds like Fenton duals on GM six cylinder engines. Lower exhaust backpressure gives better performance. I have a short video of engine running if you need to see it.
3 speed manual transmission. Drum breaks. Hubcaps. Vented windshield.
Red bucket seats, not original.
Nice old truck. Runs good. Head turner.
