Up for auction is an incredible 3 owner gorgeous 1956 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop that was all white from the Parkwood Chevrolet dealership in Lakewood California. Salt and pepper interior with a beautiful original factory padded dash and beautiful carpet. A frame off restoration was performed in 1990 by the second owner. This has been a local California car since purchased from the dealership in 1956. Paint and interior both show very little to no wear and this car has 111,400 original miles. I purchased this from the second owner 3 years ago as a bare bone stocker. Very strong running numbers matching factory 265 V-8 motor that runs incredible with all original drivetrain.
Accessories I have added and upgrades that have been completed:
· NOS restored 56 Bel Air Spotlights operating and functional with mirrors
· NOS Continental Kit complete with factory lock and original GM box where the kit was purchased. (Leo Hoffman Chevrolet La Puente)
· Hood ornament and fender ornaments
· Skirts with scuff guards
· Rocker moldings
· Front fender gravel guards
· NOS door edge guards
· Guide traffic view finder
· GM hat holder with vintage felt hat
· Air shocks with Air Rite compressor and on board system to raise and lower rear of car
· 600-15 BF Goodrich tires
Everything works on the car flawlessly and is a great driving show car. I encourage any potential buyer to come inspect and drive this to a local car gathering or two to see just how nice of a car it really is. Seller has the right to end auction early as this car is for sale locally. Buyer responsible for any shipping costs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I would be glad to send any additional pictures or videos of this car.
