Our seller purchased the Chevelle from it's original owner in 2005. It was sold as an original LS6 matching numbers. At the time, it had beeen painted Black Cherry and was in much need of a good restoration. Our friend bought the car for a good price and got it home to start the project. The first thing he discovered were many areas that had been what looked to be Hugger Orange. Seeing the trim tag and it's - instead of a paint code, he knew it was a special order paint. He decided to bring it back to Hugger Orange. The single - represents a solid color, but he chose to do the vinyl top.

Under the hood is the powerful 454/450 LS6 Big Block V8.

The code on the block does show to be T1016CRR

The engine stamping number's are shown above.

The original trim identification plate is intact, note the special "-" for a paint code, indicating special order paint, Hugger Orange in this case.

The smog equipment is in place.

This is a highly detailed engine compartment with correct components throughout, down to the Winter's casted aluminum intake & LS6 cylinder heads. One cast 1/11/69 the other 1/12/69.

Open the doors to 1970. The seats in the car are original. They are showing their age a bit, but are original. The seller found 2 Chevelle seats and had them completely restored to perfect. He spent $3000. on the 2 and they will go with the car.

The top of the dash is original with no cracks, but the front gaugeclusterarea was replaced and the owner has the original as well.

The interior is in excellent condition. All gauges are functional. Check out the factory bucket seating & center console along with the correct High RPM redline tachometer.

The trunk is clean and detailed.

In his restoration, our seller used nothing but original or NOS parts. He searched for a long time to find every correct part for this beautiful car.

Since the original owner of the car had no real documentation, such as a build sheet or Protecto Plate, our seller could only go by what he had in front of him.

What you see here is the result of over $100,000. spent in the restoration of a beautiful true 1970 SS Chevelle that we believe is a real 454 LS6.

Our seller has a notarized letter from the owner that the car was a true LS6, but not knowing the gentleman at all, he tried to contact Holtz Motors in Wisconsin where the car was purchased and there was no one there that was around in 1969 nor could they pull up records from that far back.

This is your opportunity to own an exceptional 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 454 LS6 in outstanding restored condition. This car is a pleasure to drive, rebuilt inside and out. Please don't hesitate to contact Dave direct at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions or concerns.

Making the cover of Super Chevy Magazine, were both of the cars that our seller had restored.
The black 70 was as magnificent as the 70 LS6. This car was not a true SS from the factory, but our seller decided to make it a tribute pro touring car with an LS6 engine. We sold the black car not long after the 2 cars were completed. It sold for $74,000. The orange 70 was put in a bubble at theowners business for 5 years and taken out occasionally, for a show or 2.

The wheels are not the original from the car, but are a set purchased to be date correct. Even the brakes have numbers

The original master cylinder is cast with a BB and was in pretty bad shape, so the owner got a GM replacement. He has the original as well.

There is so much to tell about this car that we can't list it all.

Agai, please feel free to call Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-317 with any questions.
