For Sale: 1966 Corvette Sting Ray ConvertibleThis is a very original, low mileage, numbers-matching car.
Original427/425hp engine.
Had a FULL FRAME OFF Restoration in 1986 and not driven more that 135 mile since!!!!
Exterior color is Red with red leather interior.Cylinder heads, intake and exhaust manifolds have correct date-code castings.The numbers on VIN plate match the engine block.
This 66 Vette is roomy, comfortable, and very well sealed against wind and weather! Comes with a like new white soft topand a factory red hard top. The white wall 4 ply tires are new and the knock off wheels still retain some original spinners. The factory leather has no rips or tears, nor do the factory headrests. Factory mounted side pipes have no rust, as well as no rust on this car. It is like brand new under the car with no wear, tears, or rot of any kind. This is an original 40100 mile car!
A very low mileage car with 1 repaint in the 80s that still looks like it came off the showroom floor. This great car has only gained 130 miles since 1987. It has been started and driven lessthan 5 miles a year since 1987. This car has the original matching numbers engine that is in like new condition. The cars still hosts its original inspection marks from when new.
Sent new to the Chevrolet Zone Office 06-000 in Oakland Calif to be used by the Tech Department. First owner was Howard ******** of San Francisco Calif. who owned the car until 1986.
