1978 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Fans of the '70s, this 1978 Chevrolet C10 pickup will bring back good memories of a wonderful time. It's been tastefully modified to bring it into the 21st century, but there's just no way to disguise those rugged good looks and do-anything practicality. And all the things that we love about muscle cars are here, too: V8 power, cool paint, and goodies like A/C and a solid paper trail. The good news is that this is a Chevy C10 pickup truck, and brings with it all the good stuff that these trucks all possess: rugged good looks, unmatched durability, and the ability to handle all the performance modifications that you'd find on a Camaro or Chevelle. The two tone black over burgundy paint isn't the truck's original color, of course, but the creases on the bodywork practically beg for the two tone treatment. The sheetmetal appears to be original and it's quite straight, so you don't have to wonder if this was some kind of work truck brought back to life. Instead, it has obviously been something special all its life and someone invested pretty heavily in it recently to give it this look. The C10 offers plenty of eye candy, too, including a shiny chrome front bumper, a custom billet grille, shaved emblems, and a clean stainless insert on the tailgate for a little contrast. You could add a rear bumper pretty easily, or a roll pan, both of which would really dress it up. And if you want it to work for a living, there's a tough spray-in bed liner in the bed. This truck's real treat is inside, where it sports a tan interior that's a fantastic complement to the two tone paint job. The dash pad, headliner, and door panels are in excellent shape and show almost no signs of age, and the two tone seat cover is a bit more elegant than you'd expect in a '70s pickup truck. Dark carpets work with the exterior paint and a set of heavy-duty floor mats will keep them from deteriorating in the future. This truck also offers factory A/C, an AM/FM/CD stereo radio, power windows and locks, plus a tilt steering wheel, so it's more than just a piece of memorabilia, it's ready to drive!Nothing runs better than a smooth Chevy small block, and this C10 still carries what we believe to be its original 350 cubic inch V8. Nicely maintained, it runs superbly thanks to a new Holley 650 4-barrel carburetor, fresh plus and wires, and a tune-up, and offers a great V8 burble at idle and smooth torque throughout. A chrome air cleaner and valve covers give it a flashy, dressed-up look and there's a new radiator up front. The 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission is a nice upgrade over the original 3-speed unit, and with dual gas tanks, this truck delivers bladder-bursting range on the highway. The Flowmaster dual exhaust system is recent with turn-downs ahead of the rear axle, which is a rugged 12-bolt that's still ready to get to work. Four 24-inch chrome wheels look great in the truck's big wheel wells and carry recent 295/35/24 performance radials.Clean, tastefully modified, and documented with a factory build sheet, this C10 will definitely get its share of double-takes.
