Interior Highlights
The custom velour interior of this vehicle is very complete, in good condition, and is very comfortable. The bench seat, headliner and door panels are coordinated with gray velour material and orange accents that complement the rest of the truck. The headliner is custom and has a Chevrolet bow tie mirror as the center piece. The door panels are in very good shape. The truck is equipped with a Boss AM/FM stereo with CD player. The dash of the truck is very impressive with slick body colored paint, the dash houses an awesome set of original gauges. The glove box, ash tray, and all dash components are in great shape as can be seen in the photos. The carpet in the truck is in decent shape. Overall the interior is complete and in very good shape as can be seen in the pictures.
Exterior Highlights
The exterior of the truck is finished in an eye catching bright reddish orange paint – more orange than red, it is very sharp and the paint is slick. Overall the paint on this truck is what we would consider better than driver quality. The body of the truck is in very good shape and has the lines of one of the most popular years in Chevrolet trucks. The body fit on the truck is very good to excellent. The bed has painted wood boards and stainless strips that are in good shape. The bed has mirrors at the front and on the tail gate that are somewhat discolored. The tailgate on the truck has been professionally welded shut and looks excellent. The truck has a nice set of aluminum Ultra wheels with Michellin tires with good tread depth. The exterior hardware is complete and in very good shape. The brightwork on the truck including the body moldings and cab trim are in great shape. The chrome bumpers and grill really set the truck off and are in great shape, the front bumper is equipped with excellent chrome bumper guards. The mirrors and glass on the truck are in excellent shape. Overall as the pictures show this is a super sharp old truck that is ready to go.
Mechanical Highlights
Mechanically the truck is powered by a 327 Chevrolet V8 with a 3 speed manual transmission. The undercarriage of the truck is very solid, we have not researched the history of the truck but know it spent at least part of its life in Georgia, the odometer at the time of this listing reads 72,098, the title reads actual, and the undercarriage on the truck is in excellent solid shape. This truck is an older build that was obviously once a show truck with oodles of chrome and mirrored accessories under the hood, the truck has been well maintained and is still very showy. The truck is equipped with a 4 barrel carburetor, B&M snorkel type air intake, Mallory ignition, and chrome tipped dual exhaust. The truck is equipped with power steering and manual brakes, the truck starts, runs, drives, and stops with no issues. The truck is equipped with a 12 bolt rear end with a nice highway gear for comfortable cruising. Overall the truck is mechanically sound and is a great driver.
