Up for sale is my 1972 Chevy El Camino. It has been my swap meet parts chaser/weekend driver for the past three and a half years. Mileage reads 40,195. It had a frame off restoration before I got it.The body is clean and straight. no rust. The body mounts, fuel lines, brake lines, floors were done.I added front disc brakes and rebuilt the suspension with polyurethane bushings and Chevelle F41 suspension(bigger front sway bar and boxed lower rear control arms with sway bar). It drives nicer than my Silverado P/U. It could use a repaint. The bed isn't all beat up. The engine is a rebuilt1970 350/300 hp with a mild cam and world products 2.02 heads. Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carb. It doesn't smoke knock, tick, use oil or run hot. Headers with full dual exhaust. Flowmaster mufflers.Hei ignition. Trans is a 700R4 overdrivebuilt to handle 500+hp. Custom driveshaft. 10 bolt 3.08 rear. Was an A/C car but that stuff was long gone when I got it. The heat/defrost still works but the blower motor is hooked to a toggle switch. Has nice 235/60/15 tires on Chevelle SS wheels. Currently registered and inspected. All lights, horn.wipers work.. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. With the overdrive it cruises on the highway. I am probably forgetting something so feel free to contact me with any questions.
