Runs like a top (The engine was rebuilt around 90k) Mechanically everything works.
Paint is good but not perfect (repainted about 8 years ago)
A ton of receipts for all work since I took possession of the car from my father after he passed in 2004 (He was the 2nd owner in 1999, I am the 3rd)
Odometer shows 117,000 but the car has a little more than 200K on it. The digital speedo took a dive so I replaced it with a lower milage one that works.
I have nothing to hide with this car (see attached Car Fax) It is very well taken care of. It's not perfect and it's worth alot more then the $6500 I'm asking (if not for the salvage title, it's a $12k+ car all day) Salvage title is due to a low speed rear ender by a dumb a** texting kid and the shorty bumper. All work was done at a reputable restoration shop (Future Car in Orange, CA) and I defy you to point out where it was hit. I have way more than twice the asking price invested into this Impala.
I planned to never sell this car as it is a sentimental reminder of my father but things have changed. It never gets driven anymore and just sits covered in the garage. Need to move it out and make room for my wife's VW Thing. It's time for someone else to enjoy it.
