Here is my 1967 Chevelle SS396 (Numbers Matching) up for auction. I am the 2nd owner of the vehicle and have owned it for 15 years. The first owner had it for 32 years of it's life. In 2003 it underwent a full frame off restoration and either parts were replace or I restored what I could. The color is called Emerald Turquoise and is the original factory color. The build sheet (Included) called for a tan vinyl top, however I preferred black as photoed.
My family and I enjoyed the car for many years however the first paint job was sub-par and wasn't to the caliber of what this car deserved. So in 2015, the fenders, doors, hood, trunk deck were removed and the paint was once again striped down to metal and re-done. It turned out flawless and laser straight. (see pics and video)
Also the sheet metal to the car is all original except for the trunk pans and the driver’s lower quarter which I outlinedin the video. Car was never involved in an accident which the photos of the frame can be a testamenttoo.
Also in 2015 I pulled the motor due to a crack in one of the original heads (Date coded (0766- July 1966)- I purchased a date correct factory set which was 2 months off of the original set date coded 0966 (Sept 1966) that was in great condition and again had the motor completely rebuilt into a "roller motor." - It dyno'd at 429 Ft/TQ and 376 HP. The block is .10 over and the crank was only turned once during the first motor build. I still have the original set of heads that will go with the sale of the car. Also with the sale will be the original intake, Quad-a Jet Carb, Air Cleaner, Smog equipment, Exhaust Manifolds and whatever else I have left over.
The vehicle originally came with a TH400 automatic transmission and since has been replaced with a CPT (California Performance Transmission (Art Carr) 2004R automatic transmission with an overdrive for better highway traveling. Installed new by Art Carr. Have receipts. Both the motor and transmission including the paint and glass have less than 500 miles on them since the 2015 renovation.
The 12 bolt rear end is original to the car and was completely rebuilt in 2005 with all new internals, including a 3:42 posi, seals, axles, brakes, ETC. The only thing that was reused was the housing.
Did a front disc brake conversion in 2005 restoration and they work great-
All new glass for the entire car was replaced in 2015 during renovation- Also all the window trim including the vinyl top trip is factory original to the car. I had it professionally straightened and polished. Not aftermarket but all original.
The power steering pump and steering box are original to the car and were both rebuilt- Works great, no leaks
The alternator is original to the car and was rebuilt with 100A guts to support the JL Audio stereo; listed below.
Heater core was replaced during first restoration
The interior was replaced with factory colors and every thing works except for the original radio, clock, and the heater controls. The linkage cables may need an adjustment or looking into. All the gauges work except the fuel gauge is not very accurate which is typical in most older cars.
All the wiring throughput was replaced in 2005 during the first restoration and all lighting works.
JL Audio 1000W stereo/CD/MP3 sound system- Sounds incredible!
Car runs excellent and is fun to drive- In total the chassis may have 10K miles on it since 2006 when it was restored
Tires- Falken FK452- Front- 235/40ZR17 Rear- 245/40ZR17
Cons-
If car sits for a long period of time- more than a week, it takes a while for it to start- Maybe a fuel delivery issue or carb adjustment. However once it starts it fires right up
No A/C
Heater controls do not slide or function.

I apologize for video difficulties but Ebay no longer allows for video links. Unreal. Go to Ventura Craigslist and locate add. You will have to run each URL and after each video run the next because the subsequent videos are not mine.
Thank you,
