1958 Corvette Restored Rolling Chassis with Drive Train Up for auction is Restored 1958 Corvette Rolling Chassis. The owner decided to use the body for a Resto-Mod and the older frame off restored chassis and drive train are being sold. Completely rebuilt 1958 Corvette frame and suspension including new exhaust, tires, fuel lines, brake lines, etc. The wheels have the correct hubcap nubs. It comes with a rebuilt 1958 Chevrolet passenger car engine, casting # 3737739 machine dated F618D and block cast date of E168. The T-10 Borg Warner 4 speed transmission dated 2-3 and is cast iron. The tail shaft is dated 1-7-59 and includes a Hurst shifter. The Posi rear-end is a 3:36 casting #3743833 is dated L37 with a build date stamp AM12 13.
