This truck was purchased new in November 1958 in Pittsfield, IL for $2,280.05. It was restored after being purchased by its second owner in November 2008 after being in a barn for 28 years. The original six cylinder was switched for a 350 V8 and a 700R4 automatic trans.

Other changes included air conditioning by Vintage Air, an aluminum radiator, new tinted door glass, a Ford 9 inch rear axle, new oak bed, tailgate chains switched for tailgate latch, new upholstery by H&K Auto trim in Jacksonville, IL and lastly paint by Craig's Collision Center in Pittsfield, IL.

Fees:	Out of State Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license. The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state. All buyers pay a $164.30 Documentary fee. Taxes and Fees All transactions are subject to an Illinois authorized $164.30 documentary fee. This is charged on every car sold whether it is through the internet or a local buyer. If you need temporary tags, the cost is $10 for a 30 day tag. If not financing the vehicle, all payments must be made in the form of bank wire transfer unless agreed to in advance by . If a bank check, personal check or money order is used for payment, the check must clear before delivery is taken of purchased vehicle. We will collect tax for all Illinois transactions and for any state that has a reciprocal tax agreement with Illinois. We will also collect and pay your state taxes and registration fees on all transactions that are financed with us. Out of state customers will not pay any Illinois sales tax. Deposit All buyers pay a $164.30 Documentary fee. We require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of winning the auction. Full payment is due within 5 days of winning the auction. Terms:	Auction Policies We will be glad to assist is setting up transportation. We will assume no responsibility for the vehicle once it leaves the dealership. A thorough inspection will be done immediately before the vehicle is given to the transport company. We use only insured and bonded transport companies, if there is an issue concerning damage it will be handled by the shipping company. Buyer Pickup We ship to anywhere in the U.S. We have several professional shippers available that ship either on a transport, flatbed or enclosed trailer. We can take all of the hassle out of the shipping process, all you have to do is inspect the vehicle upon arrival at your home or business. We shop for the best rate and pass the savings on to the customer. All of the carriers we use are professionals that carry proper licensing and insurance. You may also pick your vehicle up at our dealership at no additional cost. If you are flying in we can arrange to pick you up at the airport at your arrival. All vehicles will be fully detailed inside and out upon pick up or delivery.
