2016 Classic Trucks Magazine Calendar "September"

This Truck was a frame off build by Clutch Rod and Custom, Has been featured in Classic Trucks Magazine in 2015 in the Month of November, also featured in the 2016 Classic Trucks Magazine Calendar for the month of September.

This Truck has been completely restored and modified from the ground up, A frame off rebuild this truck started ou, completely rusted and in need of reviving. Clutch Rod and Custom did just that, Disassembled every bolt and every screw. Sand Blasted and protected every part, replaced everything that needed replaced, and re assembled to perfection!

The Truck is a 1966 Chevy C10, Big Back Window factory AC truck. The color is Cameo Beige w/Vanilla White accents. All Trim, Chrome, as well as glass are new, Bed Floor was replaced with African Sapela hardwood and new hidden bolt stainless strips. The bed is finished off with a tailgate with hidden latches and rear aluminum fuel cell with custom cap in the bed!

The Interior is Beige Essex Carpet with soft white upholstery, Shifter is a Lokar and the steering wheel is a tri five 15” wheel.

The motor is a LT 350, with Edlebrock Manifold and Carb. Accessories include Finned Air Cleaner and Valve Covers, March Serpentine belt System as well as Ceramic coated headers and new HEI distributer. The Transmission is a Turbo 350 with Lokar shifter, both are cooled by an Aluminum Radiator and Electric Fans.

Suspension is made up of Performance Lowering springs, along with drop spindles, to give it a factory ride. Brakes are Disk Brakes on the front and Drums on the rear. The Disks on the front and new axels in the rear end have been re-drilled to accommodate a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. So wheel choices are limitless! The wheels to give it a traditional look are steel smoothies with 205x70r15 firestone wide whites from Coker tires!

This Truck is a traditional not a radical re-modified custom, it has been painlessly redone by professionals. But not overdone. A great super clean reliable truck for the car guy looking for the old skool look but the new car reliability.
