Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this stunning 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck. Well optioned from the factory with a Hydramatic four-speed automatic transmission ('54 was the first year the automatic was available in a pickup), the truck retains a correct, stock look and its original drivetrain but has seen a few mechanical upgrades to make it more drivable -- namely power steering and power brakes.

Beautifully restored to a "show quality" standard, paint is excellent and all panels are smooth, straight and solid. Bumpers, trim, chrome, hubcaps and glass are likewise excellent and all window seals and weatherstripping are new. The wood bed is also fully restored and simply exquisite. It's a head turner that never fails to draw a crowd and many compliments.

The interior shows well with restored factory gauges all working properly; the only deviations from stock are the addition of three-point seat belts, a modern stereo and under-dash A/C. Restored original steering wheel.

Under the hood is a 235 cubic inch, overhead valve, straight six Thriftmaster mated to a Hydramatic four-speed automatic transmission (which was groundbreaking for its time). Starts, runs and drives quite well and the power steering and power brakes make it surprisingly easy to drive.
