1984 Camaro Z28 Auto Form Roadster conversion. Auto Form, based in Elkhart, Indiana, built GM sanctioned Camaro and Firebird 2 seat roadster conversions from 1983-1986. The conversion process took about two weeks and cost approximately $5,500 over the base cost of the car. Auto Form worked directly with participating dealers and did not accept customers off the street. The converted vehiclescould only be purchased and delivered through a GM dealer. New Camaros and Firebirds were shipped to their conversion facility and then returned to the dealer for delivery to a retail customer. Approximately 200 total cars per year were produced and it is estimated that fewer than 100 of these Camaros exist today.Original window sticker, warranty book, AutoForm brochure and marketing materials included with the sale.
The car was repainted and a newtransmission installed in 2014. In 2015, a built small block Chevy with a Weiand superchargerwas installed at a total cost of $12,000. A new A/C compressor and Foose wheels were installed in 2016.
