1987 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Description

We are selling 1987 3/4ton Chevy Pick up W/38803 documented actual mileage. The second owner that bought this truck purchased it in 1998 w/36684 mile. He drove the truck to the present mileage, and then the slave cylinder went bad on the transmission. Which at that time he stored the truck under a car port beside his house. He took the tires off of the truck and put them in the garage, and the trucks rested on cylinder blocks, until we purchased it 2 weeks ago. The truck is %100 original, including the radio all the way down to the exhaust system. IT'S LIKE A TIME CAPSULE!! The body of the truck is in very good condition for the age, it does have your usual Chevy rust on the rockers, and inner fender wells.Truck was exposed to sunlight, and has a dried out dashboard, and cracked seat. The paint is also faded and has some surface rust spots, but nothing through the metal. The tail gate is bent. The rear bumper is rusted and needs replaced. All in all will be a very easy restoration in my opinion. The motor in the truck is a 350 that has never been molested and has all original parts including the emissions. The gas tank was cleaned out, we added fuel and the truck starts and runs under its own power. The motor sounds very healthy, no ticks. It will go into gear and drive, but you have to pump the clutch because of the bad slave cylinder. If your looking for a truck to restore to show room condition, this is the candidate that you want. With a little TLC and a new paint job it will be almost like having a new truck. Truck will need to be trailered due to transmission problem. Feel free to ask any questions and GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!
