Restored 1969 El Camino with new 496 BBC Stroker, 623 HP, 629 TQ, Aluminum heads, new motor mounts (poly), TH400 w/3500 stall, Aluminum radiator, Dual electric fans, new P/S pump, new alternator, new brake booster, new billet brackets and pulleys, new starter, all new (poly) bushings (front and rear), new front sway bar, new Optima battery in sealed box (relocated behind seat), new Strange driveshaft, new Strange S60 rear, posi w/3.73 gears, 35 spline axles, new rear upper and lower control arms, new front and rear shocks, new front and rear coil springs, new brakes (disk front, drum rear), new coated headers (which fit, no dents or dings to fit), new Flowmasters, 3 in exhaust turned down at reareand, new fuel and brake lines, new rims with Mickey Thompsons drag radials all around, new BM Quicksilver shifter, new carpet, new headliner, new door panels, new door sills, new Procar seats w/sliders, new Covan's Classics dash kit w/ new Autometer gauges, spray in bed liner, new cowl hood, new AM/FM CD stereo with amp, 5 speakers (2 built into the kick panels), (Interior is set up like a 2nd gen Camaro w/ console), new battery kill switch, new gas tank and sending unit. Mineral gray paint w/ black rally stripe down hood only. 150 miles on completely new drivetrain. It's not even broke in yet. All the lights and switches are there, but it does need electric work (wipers, horn, head and tail lights), Firewall was filled, so no heater core or A/C. The body was taken down to bare metal and epoxied before sanding and paint. Paint came out good, needs compounding. All new weatherstripping, but it is a 69 model so it's not water tight with direct spray into the windows when washing. I would call it 95% complete. Garage kept. This is not a show car, but a mix of cruiser and BEAST. I quick gear change and she could be track worthy, but sick on the street as she sits. I have 26k, (16k in the drivetrain alone) and 11 years in this car, so no matter what, I'm going to take a beating, There is a reserve, but I believe it is reasonable given how much was put into the car. I have a majority of the receipts, which go with the car along with any spare parts I may have. Need to add that the door hinges were replaced and are straight, no sagging, but the drivers side door mechanism is worn, causing you to have to slam the door sometimes. The passenger side is fine. Just trying to get it all out there. Thanks for bidding.
