1984 Chevrolet Camaro berlinetta Description

1984 CHEVY CAMARO bERLINETTA
I purchased this car in August 2015 from its original owner. This Camaro has always been garaged and is nearly flawless for its age. The ‘Starship Camaro’ berlinetta was only offered during the 1984, 1985, and 1986 model years. The 1984 berlinetta distinguishes itself from the other two model years by using a lower case ‘b’ in all of the emblems. The cockpit design was radical at the time merging the latest digital technology with aero-space inspired ergonomic controls, telescoping controls pads, and a free standing, rotating cassette player with a equalizer stereo system.
Standard sticker price was $10,885. This particular berlinetta with included options sold for $15,177.00.This berlinetta is equipped with a 5.0 liter V8, 4 BBL carburetor, automatic 4 speed transmission. In 2010, the original engine was replaced due to a cracked head with a remanufactured 5.0 liter V8. Since replacing the engine, the car has only been driven 4300 miles.
Optional equipment installed on this vehicle is as follows; six-way power drivers seat, power door lock system, tinted glass, power windows, removable glass roof with locks, electric control air conditioning, electric remote sport mirrors, rear compartment cargo cover, rear spoiler, electric cruise control with resume speed, 5.0 liter 4-BBL V8, automatic transmission with overdrive, comfort-tilt steering wheel, electric tuned am/fm radio with cassette tape and graphic equalizer, and a power antenna. The original owner also had Ziebart Rust Protection package performed at time of purchase. There is not a spot of rust on this entire vehicle, still sports original paint. It should also be noted that this car leaks absolutely no fluids.
The following is a list of all the work performed on this car since 2010. I have receipts for all the work aside from the repairs I performed myself. I have a little over $4400 invested in repairs/cosmetics since my purchase in 2015.•2010 Existing 5.0 liter 4-BBL V-8 replaced with a remanufactured 5.0 liter 4 BBL V-8. Currently about 4300 miles on this engine. $3417•2011 Transmission service. $80•2011 New oil sending unit installed. $40•2015 Replace transmission manual shaft seal. $653•2015 Replace front struts and rear shocks. $697•2015 Replace drivers side window sweep. $120•2015 Replace rear main seal and oil pan gasket. $739•2016 Install new headliner, sail panels, and sun visors. $357•2016 Install new GM power radio antenna. $212•2016 Completely disassemble and reassemble Swivel Radio, adjust and aligned to manufacturers specs, repair and align cassette loading carriage, clean and lube cassette deck mechanism, replace drive belts, idler gear assembly and retainer. $596•2016 Install (4) Cooper Cobra G/T 225/70 R14. $543•2017 Install new carburetor mounting gasket and fuel filter. $225
I just started taking this car to shows now that I have completed all the work I set out to perform on it. This car is winning trophies and placing particularly well amongst 3rd generation Camaro’s. I have yet to find a 1984 Chevy Camaro berlinetta that comes close to the quality of this car.
