1964 Chevrolet Impala Description

This is an absolute no excuses Impala. It is all numbers matching and period correct! Thisis a super solid build and no rust repair whatsoever was needed or done! I wanted to keep it as original as I could, but I just couldn't pay to have it repainted goldwood yellow! So I decided on Intense Blue Pearl and It looks even better in person! The original 327 and powerglide were rebuilt. Theseats are the actual original seats and are in great shape. This is a very nice low mileage car that runs and drives great!!!We believe the car has an extremely low original 59,000 miles; unfortunately I do not have the documentation to prove it.

POWERTRAIN

The engine was refreshed by S&J Engines in Spokane and the original Aluminum Powerglide was fully rebuilt as well.
The restoration was just completed and unfortunately I need the money for other things (business) as well as the space, as we are moving. The engine is the original 327 - 250 hp engine. S&J engine rebuilt the engine and comes with a 7 year 100k mile warranty. It was a factory build because I wanted to keep it as close to original as I could, but we did upgrade the cam "one step up" and I had the engine balanced.

The transmission was rebuilt by Jamie's transmission in Snohomish WA with a new torque converter and all soft parts. The engine and transmission did not need to be rebuilt, but I also wanted it to be a full rebuild and a no excuses car, so I had them both redone.

WHEELS

The wheels are high dollar 18" Boyd Coddington wheels. In addition I do have the factory wheels, fender skirtsand the correct hubcaps.

INTERIOR

The carpet, headliner, door panels (have originals that are still good, just some wear marks), and trunk carpet are all new. This does come with the TILT column!

BODY and BUILD

I do have the pictures of the car when I got it and the restoration process. Absolutely no rust repair was done. This was a clean garage kept car. This was not a hydraulic car, field find, someone else's botched restoration, this truly was a garage kept car that was just restored first time to "freshen it up". In addition I do have the fender skirts painted to much, if you prefer that look.
I am asking a very reasonable $22,500, but I am somewhat negotiable. I will entertain trades for a ski/pleasure boat and a part trade for a motorcycle, but that's about it. BTVAI
