1961 Greenbrier Sportwagon Deluxe
This first-year Chevrolet Corvair van still wears its original Woodland Green and Cameo White
colors and originaltwo-tone green and white interior with second rear seat and extra armrests. But the original 65 hp motor seemed underpowered so we replaced it with a 140 hp Corsa engine.

- Paint code 732F - original exterior color is two-tone Woodland Green exterior; 'F' specifies a Greenbrier
- Trim code 431S - deluxe trim; 'S' specifies green interior paint and vinyl, and that the van came from the factory with the second rear seat with armrests on the side panels (still present)
- 1965 140 Corsa engine — big valves, compression measures a consistent 140 psi in each cylinder, lots of power, rebuild done by Corvair Underground
- Rebuilt 2-speed Powerglide and 4-spider gear diff transaxle, extra strong
- Throttle linkage set up 1965-style
- Linkage is stainless Full Bearing Throttle Linkage by Roger Parent, smooth and tight
- Dual exhaust with stainless steel Walker Quiet-Flow mufflers
- Rebuilt distributor from Clark's Corvair Parts
- Pertronix Ignitor II with Flamethrower II ignition coil
- Clark's "Ultimate" aluminum finned oil pan with oil temp sensor
- Rebuilt matching set of 140 carbs from Clark's
- Alternator conversion, GM single-wire, internal regulator, high output 65A
- Red "GEN" light on dash wired to work with alternator
- Stewart Warner gauges: oil pressure, oil temp, cylinder head temp, volts
- Stewart Warner tach on column
- OEM dash-mounted Chevrolet clock (needs servicing)
- Original Deluxe interior with chrome
- Rebuilt door locks using original GM keys

Clear title. Runs great. Super fun, head turner. Everyone wants a ride. Some primer and rust coming through the paint in places, but we call that patina now.
