This is a solid and good running truck. Turn heads and get thumbs up in a rare 2nd generation Apache. This truck is solid enough that it is a candidate for full restoration.
The Chevy 400 Small Block V-8 engine has a performance Holley carb and performance intake and headers. Engine is dressed with new valve covers and belts and hoses. Very nice under hood presentation.
4-speed manual transmission, with granny low 1st gear.
Miles: 12,705 showing
31 x 10.50 R15 rear -- 235/75 R15 front tires in very good condition. 6-lug chrome wheels, spring suspension.
VIN: 1C1540117546
Recent work:
All new wheel cylinders, brake hoses, clutch, master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, fuel tank sending unit, headlight switch, Holley carburetor, GM one-wire alternator, performance after market guages, all wiring to the bed is new, all lighting works including instrument panel & dome light. Wrap around windshield is cracked. Rust spots on lower front fender corners and floorboards near fenders, see photo.
Truck looks good and is a driver now, but the body has many imperfections that I tried to show in the pictures; bolt holes, small dents, and so forth. The body and chassis are rust free, apart from what I showed in the pictures. The drive train is rock solid. Runs well and doesn’t overheat, with lots of power. Interior is in surprisingly good shape. I drive it now just the way it is; a very enjoyable ride in a very hard to find 2nd generation Apache body.
Contact me for a video of it starting and running.
