1970 Chevy Camaro RS Rally Sport (TRUE RS)
1970 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Description
==1970 Camaro RS (Rally Sport)==
Vehicle has original engine (350 2bbl), original AT transmission, and original differential. Black rally sport interior with woodgrain inserts. Engine ran when vehicle was purchased 10 years ago but have not started since. Transmission was slipping at that time so transmission will need to be overhauled or replaced. Differential is original and no know concerns. Original color of vehicle is Daytona Yellow which is a rare color for a 1970 Camaro; however, vehicle was painted green at some point in it's history before I purchased it and the green paint was not properly done and lifting in spots. Vehicle is about 90% original and has the original warranty Protect-O-plate. Vehicle RPO options include: Rally Sport Package, Factory A/C and P/S.
Repairs performed to vehicle include most sheet metal replaced from behind doors to rear tail panel. Rear Subframe from behind doors to rear valance panel has been beadblasted and repainted with Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black. Spot and plug welds are about 60% complete and will need more plug welds to finish work. Fuel tank has been beadblasted and repainted. Too my knowledge there is no issues with floor panels but have not removed carpet to thoroughly inspect. Basically most of the hard body work has been completed, the rest is bolt on stuff that almost anyone with some automotive mechanical experience can perform. It kills me to have to sell this vehicle, prices go up every year but unfortunate event has forced me to sell it.

Body panels or sheet metal that will need replace or repairs; frt. Fender / lower patch panels, frt lower and upper headlight panels, RS urethane nose, and doors.

* This vehicle was purchased in NJ about 10 or more years ago by me through an Ebay Auction. At that time when I purchased the vehicle I drove to NJ to pick up vehicle and seller DID NOT have a title. NJ does not require a title for sale of vehicle and since I already drove from MI to get the vehicle and already paid for it, I took the vehicle with a bill of sale. I have some documentation for vehicle, original protect-O-plate and so on; however, this vehicle is being sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY and not with a title. A title can beacquired by having the vehicle inspected by local authorities. I would have a title for it; however, because I was in the middle of my sheet metal replacement and vehicle was not reassembled I couldn't get it. If I was to re-install; Tail lights, back windshield, harnesses and fuel tank then I could get a MI title.Unfortunately there is no option in EBAY listing for "NO Title or Bill of Sale" so I selected Clear Title because something had to be selected.
I have described the vehicle to the best of my abilities, questions are welcome and advised before bidding. Vehicle is Sold "AS IS" with no warranties, no guarantees, no returns, no refunds, and no trades of any kind. If you bid on it and win then you have to pay the amount and pick up vehicle locally. There will be a down payment through Paypal that is required and is non-refundable even if purchaser changed their mind or backs out of purchasing.
I can provide more pictures of the frt fenders, doors, frt headlght panel, fender tag, and interior upon request. I could only add 12 pics for free. Vehicle is in my storage and kind of difficult for me to get to and push in and out by myself so the pics I can provide additionally are ones I already took.
For all the SKEPTICS looking at my auction...YES its a real RS and not a clone. If you ask me if its a real RS or try to dispute the fact, I wont even waist time responding. I have been a GM automotive technician for over 25 years and have been collecting 2nd Generation Camaros for longer. Owned and restored more than 10 similar. ITS REAL!
