Up for sale is my 1963 Nova SS Convertible. Real SS. One year only car. First, I want say this is a project car. I have owned the car for 11 years. We drove it for the first 6 years and decided it was time to restore it. Never got to it. Car has been sitting apart for the last 5 years in my barn. It is a roller. I have accumulated a lot of parts over the years. I am looking to sell everything associated with the car. I am looking to sell everything I have associated with the car. I will list below what I have.
'63 Nova SS convertible roller. Needs floors, quarters, rockers. Glass is all good. Top is in decent shape. I have fenders, rad support, grill not shown in pictures.Has the original factory bucket front seats, center console, shifter and rear seats. Seats need recovering. No cracks in dash pad. I have all belt trim molding, even a few extra pieces. I have peak trim molding and rocker molding but they are after market.
Heidts Chassis kit. Front clip with manual rack steering and coil shocks and tubular A arms. Heidts Inner fenders also. Heidts front clip was installed but never driven on street. Right stuff detailing front disc brake set up and master cylinder and proportioning valve for manual brakes. Not installed on car is Heidts transmission cross member, drive shaft loop, sub frame connectors, Heidts 4 link with coil overs. Again all brand new. Also right stuff detailing rear disc brake set up. I also have the Heidts steering shaft that allows you to connect the manual rack to the stock steering wheel.
SBC 400 out of a one owner 1974 Caprice with 80k original miles. I put a comp 280 cam in it and ran it in the car for approx. 1000 miles. Motor ran perfect when I pulled it out of nova.
Powerglide 2 speed transmission. Rebuilt with a Hughes Performance kit. Trans was gone thru completely including valve body. Any hard parts that looked iffy were replaced. Also has Hughes 2500 stall converter. Approx. 1000 miles on rebuild. Deep aluminum pan. Holds 2 extra quarts
10 Bolt rear with Richmond ring and pinion. 3:73 ratio. Axle rebuilt with new bearings and seals. Again approx. 1000 miles on this setup.
With this Motor/Trans/converter/rear set up car ran a best of 12.9 in the quarter.
I have a new Radiator larger then stock brand new in the box. New gas tank 2 weeks before I took car a part.
When I started disassembly I bagged and tagged all small parts and boxed them up.
I parted out a 64 Nova SS and saved some extra parts from that car. New owner will get all this too.
I sure I'm forgetting other stuff I have. That is why I want serious people to come see what I have if you are local. To be clear, this is not a fire sale. I do not have to sell. I want to sell.
Last few pictures are from years ago before I took car apart obviously. I have a clean and clear NJ title in hand. Serious bidders only please. Do your homework and research before bidding. I live in Berlin NJ ZIPCODE 08009. Car will have to be towed obviously. I have a trailer and can possibly tow car for new owner within a reasonable distance for a fee. Contact me about that before bidding please. Reserve is reasonable. Don't ask what it is. Bid what you can afford and maybe you'll own it. Good luck and happy bidding.
