1963 Chevrolet Impala Description
Solid, restorable, 1963 Implala convertible. Original trim and vin in place.
Nice color combo of Azure Aqua, Black top, Aqua interior.
Car originally delivered August 2,1963 at former June Chevrolet in Metuchen, NJ.
Currently has 283, powerglide, stamped TO523D, unsure of condition of drivetrain.
Only optionI see is P/S.
All convertible parts in place and nice shape, top frame, trim, back seat, windows, etc.
Needs obvious body/metalwork, front floors gone, rear rusty/holes, under back seat, thin/hole.Rockers appear solid, door gaps decent.
Trunk decent, as pictured, lid and weatherstrip area very nice.Rear frame mount boxes gone, as most all are.
Frame appears very solid.
This is a very complete, restorable car, as you know, most have no floors or rockers and missing many parts, all hard to find pieces are there, but needs complete restore.
I do not have title, but do have a New Jersey short certificate from the administrator of the estate of the deceased owner, this should enable acquisition of a title.
Can assist with delivery to port, etc, for additional cost.
Thanks for looking!
On Dec-19-17 at 16:42:04 PST, seller added the following information:There is no VIN stamped on engine, but T0523D, would be 283/195 w/ PG, assembly date of May, 23.Since trim tag has body assembly date, not final assembly, of 05C, third week May, this is most likely original engine.
Note: I do not have any keys for this car, they were not recovered from estate.
