1988 Chevrolet Camaro Description
*Relisted do to overseas buyer backing out. Please have "your ducks in a row" prior to placing a bid :)
Hello, I've decided to sell my 88' Iroc Z to help with an upcoming home purchase. I've known and been around the car for about 11 years. It's got a T-56 6-speed conversion. Transmission has approximately 75-80k miles on it and shifts and works perfect. New Spec clutch, slave cylinder, pilot and throw-out bearing at time of installation (approximately 2.5k miles ago). This car spent 95% of it's life in Arizona, so it's extremely rust free and in overall great condition besides some faded paint. Fully (professionally) rebuilt and perfect running TPI 350 (0.030 over, port work, double roller timing chain, high volume oil pump, MSD ignition, ram air system with K&N air filters, headers, chipped). Interior is very clean and in great shape. I have a brand new set of extra matching door panels I acquired that go with it. 4th gen power leather seats, tilt, power windows, power locks, power hatch release, autometer oil and temperature gauges. Lots of suspension work (see pics)...poly bushings, entire car has been lowered 2".
I just put new center caps on the rims after the pictures were taken so ignore the open holes! lol
The bad: Previous owner removed the AC box to "clean up the engine bay". However I have EVERYTHING to put it back in should you chose to do so. This did not affect the heat, it still works however the blower only works on high so it likely needs a new switch. Speedometer and factory temperature gauge is not hooked up, and cruise control does not function. The dash pad is cracked, however I bought a black dashmat to keep over it. Windshield has a crack running down the center of it. Tires are old and starting to show cracking and should be replaced fairly soon.
She's located in central Arkansas. I'm flexible on pickup times so if you need time to setup shipping arrangements no worries. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere...if you're out of state I could even pick you up from the airport (~10 minutes away) so you could drive it home. Please let me know if you have any further questions, thank you. -Jesse.
